I attended the Roots of 69 Festival last August and had a wonderful time....a great look back.....I also attended the Original Soundout (Labor Day 1968 issue)...and recall seeing Cat Mother, Hedge & Donna, and a singer songwriter by the name of Shep...a curious child-like dude who leaped about the campgrounds after his set...I recall his straightlaced manager trying to contain him...and it was a comedy of sorts.....and it all added to the magic of a wonderful summer night oh so long ago...
